COGEAR GNSS Monitoring
The COGEAR GNSS network consists of 10 permanent GNSS stations installed by the Chair of Mathematical and Physical Geodesy and operated continuously in the frame of the project COGEAR (Coupled Seismogenic Geohazards in Alpine Regions). COGEAR is a project of the Competence Center Environment and Sustainability (CCES) of the ETH Domain.
The network is avaliable at COGEAR GNSS Monitoring
MPGnet
The Multi-Purpose GNSS Network (MPG-NET) is a network consisting of 10 low-cost GNSS stations, collocated at meteorological observation sites all over Switzerland. The project was initiated by the Chair of Space Geodesy in cooperation with the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology of Switzerland (MeteoSwiss). Besides precise station coordinates, products from the network also include tropospheric signal delays which allow for the monitoring of atmospheric water vapor. Further details can be found in Aichinger-Rosenberger et. al (2023).
Alpine Metrology Lab
As part of the Alpine Metrology Lab (AML) project, the Chair of Space Geodesy operates several permanent GNSS stations in the alpine region of the Valais, Switzerland. The project, which is funded by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN), focuses on improved monitoring of geologically active areas such as landslides using a combination of interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), permanent GNSS and terrestrial laser scanning (TLS). Further details are presented in Moeller et. al (2023).
